Contract management
  • Production of unambiguous contracts, which clearly identifies roles and responsibilities, and contains change management procedures.
  • Management of the contract by developing clear communication procedures.
  • Use of key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring performance in terms of cost, quality and time.
Relationship management
  • Help the client to adopt and maintain an appropriate relationship between sponsor and vendor. Help the client to remain attractive to their sponsors or vendor.
  • Where a long-term relationship becomes part of the sponsor’s strategy then C&OSL will assist them to develop processes based on mutual understanding and shared risk.
Outsourcing
  • Support vendor selection by helping the client to identify their requirements and the most cost effective solution for the phase and study type.
  • Provide guidance to sponsor’s on identifying appropriate vendors, how to ensure that they have the expertise, financial stability and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Help sponsors to develop vendor surveillance leading to an efficient selection process.
  • Work with vendor organisations to help them to respond to client requirements effectively, prepare for sponsor audits, and provide guidance on maintaining their attractiveness to their sponsors.
